Dice Ifa: Se recomienda mantener un trato respetuoso de los menores hacia los mayores, como también de los mayores hacia los menores, tanto en la esfera religiosa como en el ámbito social. Dice Ifa: Se recomienda evitar el maltrato físico y moral a la mujer. Dice Ifa: Se recomienda cuidar el matrimonio y darle una buena atención a los hijos con el fin de brindarles la educación adecuada. Dice Ifa: Que lo que deseemos obtener no se puede lograr con la fuerza bruta, sino con humildad, astucia e inteligencia. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda preservar con más celo y rigor nuestros secretos. Dice Ifa: Que debemos cuidarnos de que personas habilidosas nos manipulen, pues estas pueden conllevar a atrasos y problemas de justicia. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda cumplimentar las deudas religiosas fundamentalmente las que existan con Changó y Yemaya. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda recordar a los Awoses que no hay poder más grande que Orúnmila, el apoyo de la deidad Osain es importante para librarnos de hechicerías y amarres. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda a la población religiosa dormir con luz en su dormitorio. Dice Ifa: Que debemos cumplir con los requisitos de carácter religioso, tales como registros sistemáticos, los eboses que se marquen y las atención a las deidades. (EVITAR EL ABANDONO RELIGIOSO) Dice Ifa: Que este es un signo de poder, basándose fundamentalmente en la deidad de Changó, la cual deberá ser atendida con periodicidad para lograr la estabilidad. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda conjugar de manera adecuada el trabajo con el reposo a fin de evitar aquellas enfermedades vinculadas a los trastornos nerviosos, mentales y cardiovasculares. Dice Ifa: Que debemos de reducir la ingestión de bebidas alcohólicas y el hábito de fumar por las consecuencias nocivas que se derivan de estas practicas (enfermedades de las vías respiratorias y digestivas. Dice Ifa: Que se recomienda mantener una higiene bucal adecuada como forma de evitar las caries, y las molestias derivadas de las mismas. Dice Ifa: Que continuarán las catástrofes naturales como ciclón, penetración del mar, sequías y movimientos sísmicos entre otros. Se recomienda estar alerta y mantener la debida precaución ante estos fenómenos climatológicos. Dice Ifa: Que es un signo donde la brujería está presente por lo tanto se debe evitar la ingestión de bebida y alimentos en lugares no confiables. Dice Ifa: Que tendremos que tener mucho cuidado con robo. Dice Ifa: Que es un signo de violencia, por lo que se recomienda evitar las salidas nocturnas innecesarias, ya que es posible un incremento de la violencia en las calles y lugares no confiables. Para conocimiento general El primero de Diciembre del 2005, con la presencia de un número significativo de Babalawos cubanos y de otros países y los miembros del consejo Cubano de Sacerdotes Mayores de Ifa, se realizaron las ceremonias correspondientes a la Preapertura de la Letra del año 2006 en la Asociación Cultural Yoruba de Cuba. La recomendación fue la siguiente: Refrescar a Ogun, con Agua de coco. Se dio lo que pidieron las 25 posiciones fundamentales. En todos los casos la respuesta de las deidades, fueron satisfactorias.

CUBAN COUNCIL OF ELDER PRIESTS OF IFA ODU OF THE YEAR 2006 Odu: OYEKUN OBARA Prophecy: IRE ARIKU LOWO ORUNMILA (a well being of health that Orunmila is bestowing) Governing Orisha: OGUN Accompanying Orisha: OSHUN Flag: PURPLE WITH A YELLOW BORDER EBO: 1 rooster; 2 doves; a horse bridle; ocean and river water; a trap; an arrow; fresh corn; herbs, scrapings from a horse harness, aguardiente, 1 candle, 2 coconuts, epo (red palm oil), coco butter, honey, cascarilla (efun), smoked fish, smoked jutia (bush rat), Opolopo owo, (Lots of Money).

is necessary, we avoid going out at night as it is possible that
there will be an increase in street crime. For general knowledge On the first of December of 2005, the members of the Cuban Council of Elder Priests of Ifa with the presence of a significant number of Cuban Babalawos, and those of other countries, held ceremonies corresponding to the preamble of the 2006 Odu of the year which were carried out at the Yoruba Cultural Association of Cuba. The recommendations of Ifa were the following: Refresh Ogun with coconut water. What was requested by the 25 fundamental positions was complied with, and in all cases, the response of the deities was satisfactory.
